Ninh Binh has a geography of both rocky and coastal areas. It contains all the picturesque core of Vietnam inside its moderately little size. Ninh Binh provides beautiful view of unlimited green paddy field, extending mountains and beautiful streams. Ninh Binh is favored by Mother Nature with a geography cultivated through millions of years with innumerable primitive caves, valleys, and submerged mountains which all offer staggering landscapes. Moreover, one may see a microcosm of Vietnam inside Ninh Binh on account of its wide assortment of mountains,forests, waterways and ocean.
There are multiple ways to reach Ninh Binh. Tourists have the option to get there by motorbike, car or train. The Reunification Express Train from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City stops at Ninh Binh Town while motorbikes or autos may effectively approach there through Phap Van – Cau Gie Highway for 90km. However, there aren't a lot of options for lodging in Ninh Binh.

The eco- tourism of Ninh Binh is the major attraction amongst tourists. Famous for its caves and valleys and beautiful places such as Tam Coc, Thai Vi Temple and Bich Dong Pagoda, Ninh Binh is the perfect location for backpackers and tourists.
Ninh Binh was built as the social and political focus of Vietnam since the rule of Dinh Tien Hoang King in 968. It is undoubtedly the most alluring site where travellers may discover remnants of castles, stemples, pagodas and tombs identified with the three lines of Dinh, Le and Ly.
It's a truly extraordinary affair to cruise through the waterway with landscape of mountains, rocks, and paddy fields for around 60 minutes. One of the extraordinary part is that the travellers can use their foot to push the boat.
Cycling is a decent choice for going to close-by sights. Guesthouses enlist out bicycles for 40,000 dong per day.

Tam Coc Ninh Binh
Tam Coc means Three Caves. It is a three-hour outing by a small vessel along the Ngô Đồng River, starting at the town of Van Lam through a picturesque scene commanded by rice fields and karst towers. The course incorporates coasting through three popular caves (Hang Cả, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba), the biggest of which is 125m long with its roof around 2m high over the water.
The three-hour sampan-ride is a positive highlight, wandering through dumpling-molded karst slopes in an overwhelming scene where the river and rice fields combine calmly into one.
Vietnam is blessed by God and nature alike. With imposing mountains, stunning caverns, entwining waterways,rivers, and fantastic waterfalls, Vietnam is the ideal destination for exploring caves, conquering mountains and parachuting.
